TPE Cathay Lounge during transit to NRT

I plan to fly business class from HKG to NRT but there is two hour transit time in TPE. Can we access cathay pacific lounge during this time in TPE and does anyone know if it is inside security

i never did hkg tpr-nrt so others can advise if you can deplane and lounge is 5-7min walk from gate area inside security if you can deplane.

just so you know fare for TPE-NRT-HKG-TPE J is about same as HKG-NRT economy. when i buy this ex TPE route to japan i always take diff.flight numbers for HKG-TPE and TPE-NRT to ensure i get extra status credit/CP... so i always deplane

does anyone know if i get 2 segments credits if i bot cx450 on 2 tickets for respective segments?

Yes you can. When you exit the aircraft you will be on the arrivals level, so you will need to go through a transit security gate to get you on the departures level. In my experience this has not taken more than a few minutes. You can go to the lounge when you are on the departures level. You probably won't be given an invitation but it's not a problem getting in with your boarding pass confirming business class or relevant OW status.

I just did this flight last month to KIX, and also numerous times HKG-TPE-NRT. If the CX 564 is on time, you probably have about 60-70 min transit. In fact, all passengers MUST deplane for the transit; you do not have an option to stay on board. Just go through security and up an escalator, and you are back on the Departures level again. From there, it is a 5 min walk to the Cathay Lounge.

By the way, if you purchased your flight CX 564 HKG-TPE-KIX as one ticket, then you are only going to get Club Sectors as if it were a HKG-KIX non-stop flight. On the other hand, if your flight is on two PNRs (i.e. HKG-TPE and then TPE-KIX, even though both on CX 564), then you will get Club Sectors for both sectors separately.

Yes, you do. You get Club Sectors for CX 450 HKG-TPE and then also CX 450 TPE-NRT, as long as these are on two PNRs.

At least give us the flight number so it's easier to look up! Anyway, You are scheduled to be in TPE 10:00 to 11:00 and yes you can deplane.

Thanks. I am looking to book from HKG to KIX one way from sept 30 to october 6. I need it between those days but not a single open flight. Does anyone know if cathay pacific will release more in the next few days or do they only release two weeks before the flight time?

Hi @fakecd, would you please advise how you do it? I tried some searching and TPE-NRT-HKG-TPE is returning like HKG-NRT-HKG prices...
or you meant TPE-NRT-TPE, and HKG-TPE-HKG 2 separate bookings?

also "cheap" reference i am making is to the economy class reference i am making is regular economy core type of class and not those ultra cheapo Q or O.. i think i pay about 8k hkd or there abouts
