But it does not mention how long it stays in tpe, it says it just goes there. Anyone know what it means and how long?
I just did this flight last month to KIX, and also numerous times HKG-TPE-NRT. If the CX 564 is on time, you probably have about 60-70 min transit. In fact, all passengers MUST deplane for the transit; you do not have an option to stay on board. Just go through security and up an escalator, and you are back on the Departures level again. From there, it is a 5 min walk to the Cathay Lounge.
By the way, if you purchased your flight CX 564 HKG-TPE-KIX as one ticket, then you are only going to get Club Sectors as if it were a HKG-KIX non-stop flight. On the other hand, if your flight is on two PNRs (i.e. HKG-TPE and then TPE-KIX, even though both on CX 564), then you will get Club Sectors for both sectors separately.
