J class award availability
Hi to all:
I have been trying to book two tickets JFK-SYD with a stopover in HKG using BA miles. The agent for BAEC claims there is only one J class seat available on every flight between HKG and SYD in April 2004.
Is there any way to access the same info that is available to the airline agent. I have tried ITN and a few others. These sites produce the following:
CX 111 HKG 1910 SYD 0605 333 0
F4 A4 J9 C9 D9 I9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 S9 V9 N9 O9 Q9
There is nothing in these results suggesting that there is only one business class seat available (I expected to see U1 in the above list of codes). I have also tried the Cathay Pacific site (through asiamiles), but it only provides info 8 months into the future.
Any thoughts on how I can determine seat availability for CX flights next April?
Thanks

I think it's U or I inventory that you want.
If you do a search in the appropriate forums, there are databases to determine if there is any inventory.

Terenz: I don't think it can be I class because every CX flight is I9 and I don't think CX makes 9 award seats available for each flight.
I gather from previous threads that U class is what I want displayed. Perhaps U class inventory cannot be viewed on the net.
Thanks for the response.

CX award inventory can only be viewed on their own website when logged in using your Asiamiles account.
Bear in mind that Asiamiles' inventory is not the same as other airlines'.
