J class award availability
Hi to all:
I have been trying to book two tickets JFK-SYD with a stopover in HKG using BA miles. The agent for BAEC claims there is only one J class seat available on every flight between HKG and SYD in April 2004. Is there any way to access the same info that is available to the airline agent. I have tried ITN and a few others. These sites produce the following: CX 111 HKG 1910 SYD 0605 333 0 F4 A4 J9 C9 D9 I9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 S9 V9 N9 O9 Q9 There is nothing in these results suggesting that there is only one business class seat available (I expected to see U1 in the above list of codes). I have also tried the Cathay Pacific site (through asiamiles), but it only provides info 8 months into the future. Any thoughts on how I can determine seat availability for CX flights next April? Thanks |
I think it's U or I inventory that you want.
If you do a search in the appropriate forums, there are databases to determine if there is any inventory. [This message has been edited by terenz (edited 05-21-2003).] |
Terenz: I don't think it can be I class because every CX flight is I9 and I don't think CX makes 9 award seats available for each flight.
I gather from previous threads that U class is what I want displayed. Perhaps U class inventory cannot be viewed on the net. Thanks for the response. |
CX award inventory can only be viewed on their own website when logged in using your Asiamiles account.
Bear in mind that Asiamiles' inventory is not the same as other airlines'. |
