CX Repeat Rewards Bonus & CXleverage.com

As you may already know, CX offers two kinds of Repeat Rewards bonuses. One, by invitation, is typically 25k AA miles for the first roundtrip, 40k miles for the second roundtrip, etc. Another version is available to anybody who registers at either their cathay-usa or cxleverage websites and it's 10k, 25k, etc.

Does anybody know which bonus applies:

a. when somebody who got the 25k invitation books through cxleverage? (I think I know the asnwer to this one.)

b. if the first roundtrip was booked at the cathay-usa.com (25k bonus) but then the 2nd roundtrip was booked at cxleverage.com.

I realize that my questions may be too specific for my situation but who knows somebody may already have done this. If not, does anybody know an email contact for cxleverage? Thanks!

Based on my recent detailed experience with the Repeat Rewards bonus, here's my take on it:

- The issue will be entirely dependent on the booking class of the ticket. If the cxLeverage tickets are issued in J or D, you'll be fine. If they're issed in I, you'll be out of luck with regard to the Repeat Rewards bonus (although you'll still get base elite-qualifying miles, class-of-service bonus, and elite bonus miles). See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum85/HTML/000876.html

- I very much doubt that a particular ticket would be ineligible for the custom Repeat Rewards bonus, but at the same time be eligible for the standard bonus levels. A ticket is either eligible for the bonus, or it's not. If eligible, then it will be at any custom bonus schedule you've been offered.

Good luck!

All of my CXLeverage tickets have been issued in J, and I have received the repeat rewards miles. However, I'm not on the special invite list, only the joe blow one.

I finally got an email contact at CXleverage.com (which is actually at cathay.ca) and the answer is: the higher bonus offer applies regardless of where the ticket was booked. In fact, even when the ticket is booked offline the higher bonus offer prevails.
