Breakfast as the Meal on CX First Class

Hi All,

One of my upcoming OWE flights in CX 713 from HKG-BKK first class on a 747-400.

The meal is listed as breakfast. Does anyone what breakfast is like when it is the only meal served on a intra-Asian flight? how does it compare when breakfast is the second service on a longhaul first class flight?

Thanks!

I'd expect it to be pretty similar to the long-haul product. There certainly isn't much difference betweent the short-haul and long-haul products in business class.

Having said that, if you have time in the Wing/Pier beforehand you could of course have the whole thing cooked up specially for you on demand, with a few extra options as well. Unless of course you are too busy at that point getting massaged, showered, or whatever

I never took F on this route but HKG-BKK is a 'shorter' intra-Asian route than others such as HKG-SIN or HKG-NRT.

I find business class services on HKG-BKK to be 'simpler' than those offered on other intra-Asian routes.

I definitely go with christep's idea of getting breakfast in the restaurant at the Wing or the Pier F section.

Dear PresRDC,

I had flown CX 713 before in first class, and if you did a search on the machine, you might find the report posted here.

If I recalled correctly, CX served a "brunch", instead of "breakfast." The departure time was 9am if I was not mistaken. The brunch would feature the juice, the fruit appetizer, and the bakery baskets, followed by a choice of three entrees, and then there is an additional dessert service, which is usually a nice piece of cake. I think the meal is pretty good.
