I'm new to HSBC cards -- are RewardsCash from your supplementary card holder not pooled together with the primary card holder's? I can see and redeem the RC earned on my card while my supplementary card holder can only access theirs...

EDIT: Just found the below in the T&Cs

If you are a primary cardholder, you may also pool RewardCash earned with additional cards.
Now, how do I opt in?

Well in my reward e-shop https://www.personal.hsbc.com.hk/1/2...rewards/e-shop I can see*:

- The supp Premier MC my mother-in-law gave to me
- My principal cards
- The supp VS I gave to my own mother

*I can only redeem voucher in e-shop - I cannot redeem AM - I think that's because I enrolled by fax.
I have to call (well I have to call cos I redeem Avios with my Rewardcash and not AM)
And I think if your e-shop can't see all the supp cards you've given to others and supp cards others have given to you, you will have to call to redeem too

(Hope you're a Canto speaker)

Me too
It's 94 or less now, obviously they're hoping to fish for people who won't/can't warehouse coupons
Yields are around 2% for half a year warehousing

For example, if eligible cardmembers with principal card earned 25,000 extra Bonus Points in the same phase of the CCB (Asia) Credit Card Bonus Point Rewards Promotion on Overseas Purchases, Online, Sports, Entertainment and Apparel Spending, the maximum extra Bonus Points of this program will be awarded in the same phase is 50,000. An accumulative total of maximum 75,000 extra Bonus Points will be awarded in the same phase.
Question on this CCB offer. Have a big ticket spend coming up with one of the 10x merchants on this list. Is this promotion saying that I have to spread my spending to HK$2,778 per month, since the max number of bonus points they reward is 25K per phase? Also, the promotion reads like I would also receive the 4x extra bonus points from Online/Paywave for eye, but wanted to confirm that this is also others' experience/interpretation.

Which store? IFC just said yes
(The case I put to them was ecards plus some credit card)

Keep your receipts for the first few trades - see below.

Some do, after you have traded a few times with them. I call it email trading privileges.

I was just at IFC 15mins ago.
And 2 staff said cannot! Can't use egiftcard to buy giftcard!

Next time I will just proceed to buy a GC and attempt to use my egiftcard to pay? Or really need to buy say $10 more using a separate credit card?

Do the shop equivalent of HUACA - go in the evening

(Or given it's IFC, try the floor above/below)

P.S. I suggest, like a new FFP, you carry out a 10,000 trade with a trader before you start accumulating Apple Gift Cards in any large quantity. Apple Gift Cards are harder to trade than Mannings or Broadway, and you better test to make sure you have bought them correctly before ramping up the trade.

Actually I only have a small amount - like HK$5,000 or so for this trade. But need to find someone who is willing to take an ecard to save me a hassle of converting to physical.

Prob need to pay the foreigner premium given my Cantonese is pretty horrible... saw a trader who was willing to take an e-card at 96 so I will see how it goes. At the end of the day though I'm sure I can find a clearing price for the e-card. When I first came to HK, my colleague told me - this is HK, everyone are traders and everything is priced efficiently...
