I've got a flight tomorrow (20 Oct) to HKG booked in F using AA miles. Does anyone have insight/experience to share about how CX would handle an F award? Would they put me on a partner (in J/F) or only give me the next J/F award seat on their metal? Thanks for any advice/input.

Flew HKG-HND Thursday 20 in the morning, flew back HND-HKG on the afternoon flight on the 22nd. No issues whatsoever. Only thing is that HKG was a madhouse on arrival, not surprised as they had a full day's backlog of passengers to process.
