It’s confirmed that KQL is in new oneworld livery. Doesn't the standard oneworld livery feature the logo behind the cockpit where the wings are? It seems someone in marketing/engineering/PR is going off script a la 'CATHAY PACIIC' |
I've stumbled on a photo on flickr, and it looks like KQT is indeed NOT in the new livery, but there does appear to be a Wifi antenna on top of the plane. KQT can be added to the list of planes with Wifi. KQL also has Wifi, too.

Hello
|
Guys I apologize because I saw that my posts have been removed, so please accept my apology, I am sorry and I promise I will never spam and keep my posts separately, from now on, I will always keep them together on 1 post.
So here are my posts of what I want to say: 1. B-LBB, the 1000th A330 produced by Airbus, came back from Xiamen as CX3387 Yesterday, did any of you see B-LBB in the new livery? 2. Are they going to retire all B777-300ERs for Cathay as the B777X come out? 3. So the B777-300ERS will have to wait till they are 7 years old to be repainted in the new livery. Am I right? How is are B-KQM - B-KQZ and B-HNR? 4. When will B-HNC Leave the fleet? 5. When will B-HND Leave the fleet? 6. When will B-LXL join our fleet? Does anyone know? 7. Are there 20 or 26 Cathay Pacific A350-1000s on order? If only 20, will they only have the regs up to B-LXT? 8. People said B-KPB, B-KPC, B-KPG, B-KPH, and B-KPJ wil be retired (B-KPB and B-KPG left already). So they are going to retire a new livery B777-300ER? B-KPJ is in the new livery! That is all my posts for today! I will see you again with another bunch of posts when I got something to ask or say! |
I got another post to say:
B-HLO flew back from Xiamen to Hong Kong as CX6663 in the new livery. Did anyone of you see B-HLO in the new livery? |
Sorry again, I got a few more posts to say, it is about plane delivery:
1. When will B-HNV join our fleet? 2. When will B-HNW join our fleet? 3. When will B-HNX join our fleet? |
Sorry, another post I thought of:
Why did Cathay Pacific quit using A350-1000 to fly to IAD? |
Is there an ignore function? |

Considering they own 30 77Ws, no they won't all be retired once the 77Xs arrive. Most likely all the leased ones (21 left) leave one by one. 6. LXL completed its first test flight yesterday or the day before, so it should arrive fairly soon. Think early-mid June? 7. 20 A35Js on order. I'm assuming you used the alphabet correctly so up to LXT. 8. Looking at the annual report only 1 77W's operating lease expires in 2019 (which would be KPG). Unless they terminate the contract these will leave in 2021 when 6 77W leases expire and the 77X begins to arrive. At that point KPJ would've had new paint for ~5 years (it was painted in late 2016) so it's not that big of a waste if you want to think about it that way. |
Hopefully I get a 777 with WiFi on CX254 on the 27th May - honestly I've found the gogo wifi much much faster than the panasonic ones on their A350s. I could comfortably stream a 360p video on gogo, same cannot be said on the 350s.

Yes, CX's 777 wifi is roughly the best in the international skies, in my experience. The CX A350 wifi is still good though. CX A350 is still better than many other carriers: QR, JL, SQ and EK (A380 in particular, nearly useless) to name a few. But compared to the CX 777, indeed not many if any other intl flights match up.

B-LBB is now in the revised livery and the slogan "We are flying the 1000th A330" is now removed.
