Is the site down for anybody else?
I've been trying to access my account all day and I've been getting this error message everytime. Is this happening for anybody else? I just transferred 240k miles from Citi TYP yesterday and I'm wondering if this had any affect if its just my account experiencing this. Any help is appreciated.

There was an alert I saw yesterday on the website saying that they were doing maintenance today that would mean being unable to access MPC accounts or something along those lines.

Lately have been getting this message a lot even outside of announced service windows. Hope this maintenance window puts an end to that and they fix it once and for all.

Well there was a silver lining.
When I read the site was down I decided to see whether BAEC could still see CX flights.
Not only it can, but I spied U and T availability on a QF127 flight my brother may be marginally interested in to come back on for next Chinese New Year.
After a three way conversation with my sister in law in Sydney and my brother now in New York, I managed convince my brother to take one of the U seats.
Then since BAEC said there were 2U redemptions, I asked them if my niece can travel with my brother. There was a bit of trans-Pacific hand wringing cos it'll be "another" day off school, but I suggested is my niece's school objects I can reissue the ticket as a one way and they can buy one more. So the second QF127 U seat was taken.
P.S. Manage My Booking still works.

Site maintenance....fair enough, but I seem to remember that they used to give you an advance warning by E mail. The app crashed when I tried it, but no surprises there. Pathetic.

WHEN WILL CX MANAGEMENT realise how crappy their IT is?! And their updated app on iPhone...it took me more than 1 min to just load up that main menu page! So pathetic I ran out of words to use!

I had problems logging in to my MMB page all morning today. Since my laptop would remember my password, I usually just need to click Sign in and it'll be logged in. This morning after I clicked that the site would just return to the main landing page as if I haven't signed it. Not to mention countless problems with login and booking flights on a regular basis...

Its truly pathetic in this day and age that now I haven't been able to check in online for any of my last three trips this week . Cathay still has some great staff in terms of cabin crew and ground crew particularly in lounges but those in management positions are idiots if they can't organise an online check in function. I've seen this before that management protect certain areas where maybe an individual known to them is exposed. Surely time to stop this nonsense Ivan?
