Failed removal of MPC# at check in
Title says it all.
KIX-HKG on CX.
MPC# was already removed for HKG-KIX. Upon check-in at KIX, I asked the lady to double check that the MPC number was not in the booking.
She said it wasn't, and showed me my boarding pass which didn't have the number on it.
However, the KIX-HKG flight showed up and I got 1.25 sectors for it
I called MPC and they said they will see what they can do... but will not guarantee that they can remove it as it has already been credited to my account.
Any thoughts?

Double check any missing mileage claim record in your MPC A/C.
Once the Miles showed on your MPC A/C, it's a risk to remove them & re-accrual to other FFP. Good luck!

After some firm words with the agent (Cantonese line), they said they will reverse it.
I told them that the outbound flight HKG-KIX did not have my MPC# and miles were not credited. I asked them how come my inbound flight KIX-HKG got credited, when I specifically asked not to credit it and the boarding pass showed no MPC#.
They said if the number was present when I made the booking, it can still show up in the system even after manual removal.
I told them that this was not acceptable and they need to remove it for me.
After holding the line for a few times, they said they will get the department concerned to remove it.

Same problem with BA, QF and LH bookings in that once you enter the first FF to your booking, the system remembers that number even though you might have removed it and it doesn't show up on your BP - but it will to your account later.

This is atypical of the AMADEUS system.
