Help with cancellation fee?
Hi all,
Just booked a paid one-way reservation BKK-HKG in L class (two hours ago). I wasn't aware there was a clause in the 24 hour cancelation policy that stated it had to include a US leg. Is there any recourse here?
I actually plan on re-booking using my miles (BA Avios) as the flight is wide open (of course didn't know until after the fact).
Thanks in advance!

If that's the rule, then you'll be out of luck. Although it's worth checking whether that really is the rule, especially if you've heard it from a phone agent.
For future reference, CX now offers a 24-hour hold option on their website, which I'm using more and more to lock in a fare while I firm up travel plans or research other flight options.
