ah ha! Yes it does fold down! It has a hard back and you can put stuff on it. I say this with a laugh, because I probably took 20-30 flights in F before figuring that out myself. I was pretty stoked when I found this out just last year.

Although maybe we're not talking about the same thing. What I'm talking about on the F seat is the extra cushion part, that is part of the main seat, but the fabric itself is separate from the wider part of the seat. You can pull that narrow section down, and on the back there is a hard surface. Personally I wish they had some type of cup-holder functionality there.

The arm rest shouldn't come down in bed mode as you can bang ur head against it when sleeping? They new seats just missed the small pillow that is attached at the top

I usually use flightaware to track individual planes. But B-KPR doesn't seem to be recognized as a tail number. Anynother useful sites? flightradar24 shows it en route to LHR right now.

I think everyone has missed the really smart move on CX's part - do a modest refurb but keep the very expensive seat mechanicals and only 6 of them in the 777. SQ had a chance to even the game earlier this month with their new first but blew the budget on new seats and forgot the important thing - total cabin space. They still cram 8 suits in where CX continues with just 6. It makes a big difference.

Congratulations CX

That's additional $14K revenue for 1-way from SIN-LHR , y not? :D

I think this is the new sleep suit.

Any aircraft other than B-KPR? I'm tracking that tail religiously, as I'm flying JFKHKG in late August. CX841 received the upgrade yesterday, lucky folks.

Is the new Sleep Suit already introduced? I am flying HKG-LAX on F this coming Sunday and am still hoping to get the Shanghai Tang PJ.

If the actual aircraft hasn't been refurbished yet, are the new PJ's, amenity kits, and bedding being used? Or does all that wait until the seats get changed? I will be a first time CX F passenger on 881 on CX 881 LAX-HKG.
How will I know if I'm in refurb or old F?

No new amenities yet. Shanghai Tang PJs give away the "old" product.

What brand of lotions and potions are in the women's amenity kit? CX used to have Dermatologica products, and I really like that brand.

Did you have a mattress pad put over the seat when it was made up as a bed or just a sheet?

Dermologica is for j class only. For F class it is Aesop in the kit

Bummer. Would a FA get me some Dermologoca product from the J amenity kit for my F kit or let me swap the F amenity kit for a J one? I've never heard of Aesop brand product.

I love Aesop much more than Dermologica.

No offence, but Aesop is much better- Australian brand the products r much more high quality. No problems if u want to swap with J kit. Sometimes it is murad.
