www.checkmytrip.com

You should be able to see most of your flight details there, plus your CX reservation number. But you don't get a CX ticket number so I think you can't use some parts of the CX website.

But checkmytrip will give you plenty of details about your booking. And if you are ticketed by AA, shouldn't aa.com also have your ticket details?

What do you need to do? Seat assignment?

You will never have a CX ticket number, e-ticket or not.

Your ticket is issued by the dAArkside. So your ticket is in AA stock.

The only way to get a CX ticket number is your ticket is issued by CX.

Call AA and get your record locator number, you can plug this into the CX web site along with your first and last name to see your reservation and to select seats. This record locator number will not be the same as your AA record locator.

OP has PNRs. What OP needs is the ticket number.

He will never get in with the ticket number that AA gives him. I have been down this road many times, he needs the record locator for the CX portion of the trip from AA. He then goes to "manage your trip" then "manage my booking" on the CX web site and chooses 'Non-Member", enters the record locator (from AA) last name and first name. But this is just how it has worked for me with an AA ticket on CX in the past and for the current ticket that I am holding for later this month.

Thanks! just called AA and the lady pulled out my CX locator right away. Used it on CX.com and it showed no seat was assigned. Not a surprise since I booked through AA.com

I went on and called MPC to see if I could snatch an exit-row seat, and within minutes I was booked in 59K, the side without lavatories.

I'm grateful for MPC. Glad to know I can still enjoy SL benefits while collecting AA miles.

Ah did the checkmytrip site to double check and sure enough I had the 027 ticket listed. But glad to see my flights ticketed even if I don't have full access on CX's website.

027 means the ticket was issued by Alaska Airlines

I recently booked award travel on CX with Alaska Miles -- their confirming email gave me both RLN's -- so I was able to check the flights on CX. Can't do things like seat assignments yet -- the flights are not within the 6 month window for CX.

And please report back your experience -- we're not flying CX until early next year. Looking forward to it -- and I suspect we did well to use the extra miles for 1st Class CX versus Delta Business class even with the extra flying involved.
