He then goes to "manage your trip" then "manage my booking" on the CX web site and chooses 'Non-Member", enters the record locator (from AA) last name and first name. But this is just how it has worked for me with an AA ticket on CX in the past and for the current ticket that I am holding for later this month.
Thanks! just called AA and the lady pulled out my CX locator right away. Used it on CX.com and it showed no seat was assigned. Not a surprise since I booked through AA.com
I went on and called MPC to see if I could snatch an exit-row seat, and within minutes I was booked in 59K, the side without lavatories.
I'm grateful for MPC. Glad to know I can still enjoy SL benefits while collecting AA miles.
