Or maybe the perk can be announced on the audio system (joking of course).

Yes on a HKG-CNS and CNS-HKG I was given bottled water in a CX plastic bag and on a YYZ-HKG the ISM came to greet me and I asked for a bottle of water and she returned herself, with a bottle wrapped up in Kitchen Towel. All 3 times the water was handed out in the most covert way possible.

I think this is the best approach, hand out water in sometype of casing/bag.

I have to say though, it is much appreciated to get these perks, as I drink a lot of water to stay hydrated in flight. On my YYZ sector I usually drink 3 bottles of water and a few cups from the FA.

Curious....why they choose the CX plastic bags....and not the paper "vomit" bag.
At least those ones won't be transparent

Maybe for premium pax.

I really remember its Bonaqua when they did the LAG rollout for everyone in Y. As said, I only got it once, and I can't even remember whether its CX or VS.

I thought they only offer bottled water to Diamonds. I for one have never received a bottle in Y. As for Y+, I did get more than one bottle last time.

Fine. Translation still correct. Evian did not turn into 香檳 simply because it was given to DMs such as yourself.

Already fixed the distilled water translation. But both Bonaqua and Evian are 礦泉水 in Chinese. Sorry there is no differentiation between mineralised water and mineral water in Chinese. Maybe FAs can highlight they're giving out mineral water in the English PA message.

Actually bio aqua can be better translated as mineral added water, if u read the fine print it saids so. Also the sign should only be for mineral water as they don't offer the cheap stuff to DM in Y class
