No. Currently only CA and PR codeshare flights use CX/KA lounges in HKIA.

+1 on the no lounge access for PEY. The nature of FT is to exaggerate the importance of these things, but keep some perspective. If you're only flying once or twice a year (which to judge from another recent thread is derek2010's situation, although he's hardly the only one), then lounge access makes less of a difference to your overall quality of life anyway and the more comfortable PEY seat already is going to improve things for you. You can get priority check-in and boarding as a GR anyway.

You missed the deviation of discussion, which has morphed into "should PEY get access too", and the replies are "hell no, please no, there are enough people in J lounge already, J and GO", to which I say, SL gets access too.

The PEY comment came from someone with a profile saying: CX Green, QF Bronze... we know where that's coming from. 
It's probably just a replacement for the Pier while it is u/s with the rumoured upcoming renovations.
