Thanks.
Actually I too was wondering about this configuration as well, if you look at the pic below, first row and last row, it shows a 2-3-2 seating plan then back to 3-3-3.
Maybe both rows of seats are directly in front/behind the doors, this is cause FAs and passengers to hit the seat by accident (if the cabin is dark)

My impressions are here http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18122413-post250.html albeit not sitting in the seat for a full flight.

I found this photo on Australian Business Traveler, seems like the first row of Y is definitely the place to be, especially when the seats in front of you will now recline into your space now.

Wow, it cost over C$2,000 to ride of these so-called brand new Y+??? I may need to think twice, either you save $700 and settle on a regular Y, or pay a bit more for a "real" J class!!

Can anyone that has been on the 77G report back on how the legroom in seat 40C was? (ie. the aisle seat for set of three seats right behind the first row (row 39) with the set of two) I'm assuming that there has to be at least a bit of extra legroom, but if so, how much, and does 39B get in the way of the legroom?

Are these the first photos of new Y?

Looks far more comfy, I'm getting to the age where I have to care about my back!

only potential issue with 40C is that it is right behind one of the seats with a baby bassinet

Here's a clearer image: The more I look at the seat material the more it looks like SQ's old 747 Y seats and CI Y seats

Thanks, this gives me a clear view. I've just checked on a seatmap and noticed this isn't an extra legroom seat, so I'm assuming now that all non elites will try to go for this seat.

Oh. It's just missing the C and H seats. probably avoiding the pax and cart bumped into those seats, while the curtain in between cabin would block the vision.

Is this actually a report of a Premium Economy offering or is it Economy in the Premium Economy cabin? Y+ is not a "sold" cabin until 1 April. Until then I know they are seating MPO in the Y+ cabin but I don't know if this is with Y service or Y+ service. If the former then I am not surprised the meals were from Economy.
