CX is not available on EF?

OK. If looking for an AAward, you should select AA in the Airline Search window.
I'm trying to find availability on CX from ORD to HKG to BKK using AAward Z and you only get AA equipment to HKG choices.
I'm looking for CX to HKG.

I use the tool on www.asiamiles.com, you can register for an account and start searching there. It has worked for me.

OUT: CX807 in July. Daily departure.
IN: CX806 in August. Daily departure.
Then I'm a confused newbie on EF.
I was thinking an AAward seat on any eligible carrier would be in the search results.
Z AAward on CX807/806 is a common ticket.

FYI:
The "Flight Award Finder" at asiamiles does not work for BKK. It's not in the pull down airport list and entering BKK, Thailand.. will result in an error.

I'm not sure exactly what you're doing, but you can, indeed, search for awards to BKK using AsiaMiles.com. I just tried it to be certain before I wrote this post.
