Thanks for everyone that showed up today, Sorry I had to leave in a bounce!
At least ChrisLi did some miles today
Didn't expect to see so many attendees but it was great to meet a bunch of HKG ffers today.

Next time I'm in town, I'll try to get something together again.
And happy 2011 everyone.

Thanks for everyone too and we have a fun NYE chatting all those experience!
And we prove that this world is bloody small too!

We should get more CX DO at HKG! may be we should have a thread showing who's @ HKIA on which day so we can just meet randomly

Happy 2011 for everyone! (For me I am celebrating 2011 in complete darkness ... building transformer got blow and we have no electric )

BTW, I didn't get more miles as I signed with HSBC Advance, having one of the worst conversion in HK

This was my first ever so-called DO/drinks meet up with FT, and I was nervous walking into place, as I have never done this before. But it ended up really fun and everyone was so friendly and all come from such diverse backgrounds. I would like to thank techgirl for all your interesting travel stories, Chris for the discounts, kaka, jamoldo, short hair francis, nicole and maddog for all the hotel advice and stories. I probably wouldn't be able to find the table if it wasn't for techgirl's presence - I think everyone was just looking for that blonde! I hope you had a great time of the club lounge! It was nice to be finally able to put some faces to some of the FT handles.

I was also surprised by the huge turnout. I honestly think there should be more DOs specific to HK, as it is an interesting medium to share stories/advice etc. I hope to see some of you in the SIN Do in a few weeks, and happy new year!

Was lovely to meet everyone and I'm sorry I did not get around to chatting to everyone as much as I would have liked. A reason for us to have more get togethers!

Happy New Year!

Thanks everyone for showing up and it was nice meeting chatting with you all. Too bad the time was so short. I do look forward to attending another HKG FT DO.

Safe travels in 2011 to everyone!

Thanks to all of you for coming out for drinks - and a huge thanks to kaka and ChrisLi for organizing this! I loved the opportunity to meet everyone and enjoy a couple of cocktails during my time in HKG.

Just wondering if anyone is interested for another round of x-mas drinks this year?

Sorry to note, it should be 12/31 is my last day available since I'm flying on 1/1

Based on that schedule,
seems like its either to fit all 5 of our travel schedules
22th, thursday
29th, thursday
30th, friday
31st, saturday

Any preferences to dates, times or locations anyone?
Just don't ask me to pick the location, I'm barely in HKG at all

I'd say 22nd or 29th before everyone goes off for their new year shopping/meals?

22 is winter solstice (chinese family day) so me thinks 29 would be a better day (29 is a full work day for me)? or how about 30/31?
