the invitation says "At Cathay Pacitific, we are committed to....blah blah blah... you and a guest are... blah... where we will unveil some of our airline's latest innovations. Please join us on 7th December for an exciting and entertaining evening that will showcase our latest product and service innovations." etc. etc.

Got mine. It's being held at the Grand Hall in the Expo Centre (Wanchai), so they must be inviting a lot of people.

Surprisingly, my wife got a letter too. Sent to my wife's home in Hong Kong and in my wife's name. Interesting, she is just a GR and still got invited, I would imagine they would be inviting only DMs and GOs. Anyway, doesn't matter, we won't be in HKG in Dec.
