Redemption Availability

I have 60k Asia Miles and want to redeem a HKG<->SFO economy ticket. Checked their online redemption and the lowest available is 120k miles (business) from now to next June!

Before I call them, does anyone know how I can actually redeem a 60k economy HKG<->SFO ticket? My schedule is VERY flexible.

Thanks!

You can do the redemption thru CX website or by calling AM. If you have a flexible schedule, I suggest you do it online to avoid the lengthy wait.

CX usually releases more seats 2-3 weeks before departure, if they still have them unsold.

Alternatively the OP can fly partner airlines like JL and/or AA. Need to call Asia Miles for that though.

I would have redeemed online if they had it available. Try it out - HKG <-> SFO anytime from now to Jul 2011. I couldn't find any seats available for 60k miles.

Isn't this ridiculous?

CX IT (online) sucks, call MPC for better services.
