In flight blankets

Just for example:
CX 888, originated from Hong Kong to Vancouver.
Then it will continue on to JFK, New York.

My question is, those in flight blankets for
Economy class passangers after being used, will they just folded, then given out again for the next group passengers from Vancouver to New York?

Or, it will be fresh one?

I have definitely been on CX flights where it seemed they re-used the blankets from the inbound flight. i.e the blankets handed out were folded but were not sealed in plastic. I didn't ask specifically to confirm my suspicions that they were being re-used, but I did send one back as it had some long strands of a woman's hair on it. I then got 'fresh' blanket sealed in plastic. This was in J. Can't remember route, but was regional, not trans-pacific. Was not impressed.

I absolutely would not stay in hotels that use blankets. That's so pre-1980's!!!

You probably not aware of all those J & Y seats head cover sheet in CX & SQ, even after a long haul 12 hours of flight, it won't get change, imagine those oily gel hair & all the left over dirts for the next passenger to take it on...! They implemented this cost saving almost more than 10 years ago.

I remembered in the old days like back in the 80's, if a 747 made the stop-over while I didn't disembark, at least I saw those cleaning personnels were changing those head cover sheet, all 300+ of them...!

Saves cleaning costs and lowers turnaround times.
