Family Destination/AI Resort Reco for July
Looking to go somewhere in the Caribbean (or could be Mexico - maybe Cancun or Tulum?) in July for a few days at an All-Inclusive. It's been over a decade since we've been (kids - 9 and 6 have never), but looking for a few days of [mostly] R&R. I realize it's not necessarily the best time weather-wise (ie, most places will be relatively hot), but we're used to spending part of summer in India/S. Asia, so not necessarily too worried about that. Looking for the following:
- Something mid-range - nice but definitely doesn't need to be fancy - and relatively reasonably-priced
- Good food with at least some variety, but we've also got restrictions: we are all vegetarian, with one vegan. Don't need a place that is exclusively those, but somewhere where the buffet has some options / is flexible with menu dishes to make it work (ie, if a place refuses or can't take cheese off tacos, that makes it hard).
- Ideally, gives us flexibility for beach or pool
- has decent kids activities/kids club
- definitely a plus to have options for an off-resort excursion or two
Appreciate any suggestions.

Some options: Moon Palace Cancun, Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa (that would me my pick!), Barceló Aruba, Beaches Turks & Caicos, Riu Palace Tropical Bay, Negril Jamaica...
