CapOne Venture X AU online account access

Can an AU on my Venture X get online account access for the purposes of digital lounge pass? Or really for any reason? I tried to set up for son using both his and my SSN (bc his didn't go through) and no go.

UPDATE: Limited access AU cannot have online account access. I could make him a full access AU apparently, but I still cannot find even my own digital lounge pass. Where can I find that?

"Capital One customers can enjoy complimentary or specially priced access to Capital One Lounges with their Venture X, Venture or Spark Miles cards. Cardholders must show their eligible Capital One card or digital lounge pass—available in the Capital One Mobile app—to qualify for complimentary or discounted access. "

I have the Android Capital One app:

Login > Benefits > [View Rewards & Benefits] > Adventure awaits > View Capital One Lounges > DFW > [View Pass]

Thank you! Found it. The adventure awaits section was not intuitive to me for a lounge pass.

Is there a way to get this for AU(without full access)? I prefer not to give out the credit card itself.

That kinda defeats the purpose of authorized user.

You can lock an authorized users card. Given that theres no authorization when using the card to enter lounges, Im guessing itll still allow them to use the card to access lounges.

AU is not a US person - so no SSN/ITIN which is required for full access. Just want them to have lounge benefits - so a digital card will be perfect.

It was swiped but there's no hold. I believe (may be wrongly) that an authorization can't happen without a hold?

Capital One doesn't require SSN for authorized users.

Capital One doesn't require SSN for authorized users.
It requires it if you want to give full access(own login) which is required for a digital pass.

Is the "digital lounge pass" in the app immediately available after card approval?

AFAIK, an authorized user cannot get a login. You need to request the AU be upgraded to an Account Manager. I had to go through this, as we opened this card under my wifes name, and I became an AU, but couldnt get access. Have no idea if an SSN was required for this part.

AMs dont seem to have access to everything. Oddly, I dont have regular access to Capital 1 offers, which my wife does. At one point, it gave me access to them in the app, but not when logged into the website. Havent paid attention in a while, but cant resmember seeing it in the app again in the last little while either.

My datapoint it was about 48 hours after PC'ing the card to get the digital lounge pass in the app.

Out of curiosity, what did you end up doing with this? I have an AU who is currently traveling, and while I can technically grant them online access I know there's no chance they're going to give me their SSN. They don't have the physical card on them. Did you figure out a way for an AU to get into the C1 lounges otherwise?

I just gave them their Priority Pass digital access. Now that Plaza Premium is back in Priority Pass, there was no need for them to have the physical credit card for lounge access in Europe.

Ah. I thought there were still a few Plaza Premiums that were out of PP (mostly in Canada?). I was especially trying to get it for the C1 lounge in DFW. Bummer. Thanks for responding though.
