Labour Update

Article in the G&M today (ROB, p. B5, but not in the electronic version)

The CAW, CP and AC have hammered out a deal for ticket agents which gives CP agents wage parity with AC in a 4 year contract. The union has decided to maintain separate seniority lists for the next 4 years. In return, CP agents give up some of the more flexible working rules they had.

The agreements bar layoffs or involuntary relocations to other cities.

AC employees get a bonus--100 shares for FT employees, and 50 shares for PT.
