192 is one of the shorter TTC bus route.
BTW how was the pregame "beer"?

Beers were good, ended up at St. Louis Wings and Ribs right next to the park, ate outside as the weather was beautiful. They had a special which was a Canadian, eight wings and fries for $14.99. Can't beat that with a stick.

Oh I meant the long part was the subway ride, as you said the bus ride is really short. But we rode 16 stops to St. George and then another one to Museum so it felt pretty long.

Yes, the subway ride from Kipling into the "city" can be very very long.

Will do, that would be really nice. This was just a quick in and out or I'd have dropped you a line. We landed at YYZ at 8 AM and were on a plane out of YTZ at 4:35 PM. Enough time for an Official Blue Jays donut at Tim Horton's, a lunch with a beer and 5 1/2 innings of Blue Jays baseball ^

There is a rumour that the open or close decision has to do with wind speed and direction relative to who is pitching for or against the Jays, "home field advantage".

Reviving an old thread, but I know things have changed for Toronto since this thread was last updated.
Are there any shared van services that serve YYZ and the downtown hotels? I can't seem to find any online. I am looking for something cheaper than a taxi, and the new train looks to be awfully expensive for something that only brings you to union station.

Then you will not enjoy taking the bus and subway especially at rush hour. Even though it has been many years since I last did it, it was less than enjoyable.

here is the thread for the UP on FT
Without knowing which hotel you are at, it is difficult to know if U-P is the best mode of transportation, though that and the TTC are the only way to avoid rush hour traffic.
Are you considering Toronto for the possible venue for your meeting mentioned in another thread?
