TTC Shutdown at 12 midnight?

Just heard this on 680 news, that the tentative deal has been rejected by 65% and that the TTC will shut down effective 12:01 a.m. Saturday April 26.

Yup. Field Marshal Miller is good at imposing new taxes and cutting services but does not have the guts to break the unions.

We need sane hiring practices, not a mafia running the transit.

That TTC union lead is a joke. Imagine going to the press boasting on how you honour strike notice periods, and then turning around and giving one-hour notice. Imagine how much better this would be if operated by a private contractor that is tightly managed.
