TTC Shutdown at 12 midnight?
 

Just heard this on 680 news, that the tentative deal has been rejected by 65% and that the TTC will shut down effective 12:01 a.m. Saturday April 26.

Yup. Field Marshal Miller is good at imposing new taxes and cutting services but does not have the guts to break the unions. :td::td::td:

We need sane hiring practices, not a mafia running the transit. :mad::mad::mad:

TTC Workers Reject Contract - Strike Begins At Midnight

Nearly 9,000 TTC workers voted on Friday to reject the tentative deal that averted a walkout less than a week ago.

The strike begins at midnight Friday

That TTC union lead is a joke. Imagine going to the press boasting on how you honour strike notice periods, and then turning around and giving one-hour notice. Imagine how much better this would be if operated by a private contractor that is tightly managed.
