Anthelios SX is now available in the US, so you do not have to go to Canada to get it.

Presumably, you are looking for sunscreens containing Mexoryl, which has been used in Canada for some time, but was only recently approved by the FDA in the US.

I don't know if this is too late for you, but the high SPF formulas are available at Shopper's Drug Mart stores in the GTA. They'll be open on Sunday during the day. I've also seen it at my local Loblaw's (grocery store) behind the pharmacy counter. It's good stuff. I would avoid the spray-on formula if you have sensitive skin, but the Antihelios creams are great.

L'Oreal Ombrelle also contains Meroxyl and can be found at any SDM (= Pharmaprix in Montreal) or other pharmacy. It's cheaper than the LaRoche if price is a factor.
