Camping In British Columbia?
I've been looking online for some places to go this summer, does anyone have any suggestions for any good places? It looks like reservations can't be made until April 1st, is this right?
Has anybody ever been to Osoyoos Lake? This place is at the top of my list for the sole fact that you can cross the Canada-US border in a canoe!

Haven't been to Osoyoos but I enjoyed Shuswap Lake.
They even have hot water showers.

Correct, and by April 2nd all the nice locations / weekends will be booked solid

Yes, but not to camp. You may want to post this question to the Canada Forum.
Some other nice parks:

Quite right, Osoyoos will be really hot as it sits in a technical desert. Great wineries though. Kettle valley is beautiful that time of year and of course there is great golf in Kelowna. BC is so friendly for camping that you will be welcome pretty much where ever you go. Have a great time!

When making reservations take advantage of the place where you can make special requests or comments. Its been a few years since we've been camping but we often used this space to request waterfront spots or specific sites we prefered. More often than not they were able to accomodate our requests.

Vancouver Island also has some great options; Rathtrevor Beach near Parksville, Miracle Beach near the Comox Valley and Pacific Rim on the west coast, which is particularly spectacular
