Globe and Mail Delivery

In North Saanich the Globe Saturday edition has been anything but reliable. The Globe was either late or not at all in November and December No delivery during January at all, not even after calling to report it. This morning February 21 they dropped off a copy of the Vancouver Sun........I don't take the Sun! The media is very quick to jump all over other industries for poor service what's their excuse.

I've been comtemplating a sub to G & M for a while now. Can anyone tell me what the sub rates are and where to find the usual newspaper discounts if available? I'm pretty sure they're a part of the BCE conglomerate ... Good thing I recently ditched Bell services for Rogers.

Is anyone else having delivery problems this week with the Globe and Mail delivery? I am only getting it after calling in to report a non-delivery. Customer Service did say they are a bit behind this week, but that is different that no delivery at all.
Good thing they have an instant KK for all subscribers and will bring you one out that day.

Talk about dredging up old threads...but applaud the poster on his persistence and use of the search. My biggest complaint about the G&M these days is the rationed number of papers being delivered to certain MLLs of late. Don't know if this is AC's cutback or the Globe's, but I've been to YVR Domestic on a number of recent occasions where there are no Globes left by noon, same for YYC and YEG. Was told YYC only gets 20 copies.
