I would try bidding for a 4 star hotel in downtown on Priceline. Looking at biddingfortravel.com it seems like the Hyatt, Marriott and Westin Bayshore come up regularly in the $60 range.

How is the Crowne Plaza Hotel Georgia? I am looking to do a last minute trip to YVR via Site59, and it seems to be available often. Any pros/cons to this hotel?

Thanks!

Just had a meeting there at dinner the other night. I haven't seen the rooms, but the service was well above what I've come to be used to here in Vancouver.

Its probably a 20min cab ride from the airport.

It's one of the older "grand dame" hotels. If that's your sort of thing, you'll probably like it. Personally, I'd stay in a newer hotel.

This is probably the best suggestion.
