First time in Vancouver
I will be in Vancouver for a couple of days business in February.
Although I hope to see some of the city, it's mainly for business and after a long flight from Germany my main concern will be the hotel quality.
I have been given a great rate for the Fairmont Waterfront of CAD149.
However, having just become an SPG Gold (through my BA Gold) I'm considering Vancouver SPG properties:
Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre
The Westin Grand, Vancouver
The Westin Bayshore Resort and Marina
All three are about the same ballpark price as the Fairmont but with the added benefit of some nice bonus miles in BAEC (about 2500 miles for the stay)
What would you recommend?
Thank you

Fairmont
If you like old school stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. New and modern stay at the Fairmont Waterfront. On your way out of town check into the Fairmont Airport which is the best airport hotel in the world.
Your best experience in Vancouver will be with Fairmont. The other hotels do not even come close (except the Pan Pacific).
