ETA Problems
Hello,
I applied yesterday for ETAs for me, my wife and my two kids. Three of our ETAs were approved on the spot, while mine is still under review. I have never committed a crime (no DUI or anything). The last time all of our four ETAs were granted immediatly.
I tried to call the IRCC, but the number is only reachable from within canada. Does anyone have an idea how to get some information about what went wrong and to sort it out?

Hello,
Maybe your prior departure was not recorded, so this caused eta approval to not be automatic. I know departures are sometimes not registered, since they rely on third parties (like the airlines) for departure reporting.
But anyway, I think its guaranteed someone will look at the eta request with a few days.

Hi,
just a follow-up for further reference. After 24h the IRCC asked me for a copy of my passport, which I submitted immediatly. Three days later I found the ETA in my inbox without any comment. I would still be interested what went wrong, but it is not that important.
Thanks
