Interestingly, when I was leaving Canada on February 8 (flying YXU-YYZ-ORD-LEX), I was given the form by the check-in agent at YXU. However, the UA gate agent at YYZ wasn't interested in it. She said that only AC is collecting the forms.

Delta at YYZ was very concerned with the form and collecting it from all passengers.

Asymptomatic tests for travel with guaranteed turnaround, outside of big cities, are rare (and expensive). I'd be very surprised if the answer to your question wasnt nowhere.

Do check Shoppers Drug Mart to see what locations in BC do this.

This would also not be a hard project for AC or frankly for any government authority to piece together into a simple database. It's easy enough to look up the closest pizza place which delivers on Saturday afternoons, it ought to be possible to find testing locations which meet various entry requirements based on rough location. Goes without saying that the consumer will always need to check the details, but finding a rough circle within which to start is not a tough project and boosts traffic.

I would agree. Tests for travel in BC are darn expensive even in the big cities. Terrace or Prince Rupert? I doubt there is such a thing. And in BC at least, one cannot test at anything other than a paid travel site if one is asymptomatic. A good friend had symptoms and she and her husband went for testing. They would only test her, not him. Another friend had confirmed exposure. They would not test her until she became symptomatic (she never did). It is a whole different ball game in Canada.

In any case, have a look here http://www.bccdc.ca/health-info/dise...ormation#where

Agree that it's very different here in Canada as rapid results means 48-hours and not same-day.

LifeLabs has their "FlyClear" pre-departure CAD$199 per person testing but only in Vancouver so unfortunately it may mean building in a stopover at the end of your trip to go through the testing. More details here:

Thanks! Flying AS in early May, will see if they collect it.

Wish I'd heard of this before! $199 is the cheapest I've seen for a pre-departure covid test. I went with Travel Safe which was $285 and also wasn't a guaranteed turn around...thank you for sharing, I'll pass along to others as well =)

Do you know what the turnaround time is for the antigen tests? I know that in theory those can be processed within 15min, but I'm not taking anything for granted...

For those of you leaving from YYZ, the airport is offering free covid antigen test as part of a study. You'd need to book the test 2.5 hours ahead of your flight.

as noted about 15 posts ago, sadly this is a limited time project. Hopefully it stays, even if they start charging.

I have an antigen test booked with https://www.vectorhealth.ca/ The turnaround time is supposed to be 30 minutes. They charge $125 + HST.

I flew to the US with Westjet today from YYZ. At no point did they check or ask about my test result. Only during the online check-in, I had to check yes to certify the cdc attestation form.
