Thanks. They definitely busted that. Well, the cabin crew busted it handily. The pilots were replaced right before we took off after a 5+ hour delay.

Feel sympathy for those travelling and working, coming on the heels of the recent problems.
I am fearful the post-crisis review will suggest they are trying to do too much with too little and hence need an increase in the AIF.

Wrong city....YYZ is a Mississauga cash cow. If it was in Toronto they would only be allowed to run propeller's out of it lol.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm sure those NIMBY downtown waterfront condo dwellers would much prefer YTZ to be turned into a park or something

I hope AC can chargeback YYZ for some $ or something. Two fiascos in the same week, whew

No surprise. Every time I visit YYZ I have to deal with one or many of GTAA's pitfalls highlighting their incredible incompetence. One recent example: no taxis and about 100 people waiting.

Hopefully the media follows this, inquiries will follow, and we can get the entire BOD of GTAA kicked out.

In regards to the earlier post about YHZ-YUL being diverted to Buffalo.

Whenever I fly to the US, I normally have to fly YHZ-YUL-USA since YHZ has few direct flights.

imagine my surprise to fly YHZ-YUL then get diverted to the US only to fly back to Canada again to then turn around and go back to the USA. lol. That would be interesting explaining that to customs.

Looks like they still have not fixed it?

And of course, this is an IBM shop...

Well I'm connecting through YYZ tomorrow, then on to YUL, then on to YQB. It would seem like a bad day to do it, but let's face it, no day this week has been a truly good day to travel! The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow, so hopefully today's delays won't affect tomorrow's flights too much!

If I was going YYZ-YULor YOW in the next few days I'd be taking the train. I'm pretty sure the total journey time would be a lot less by rail.
