If you want to stay in Vancouver, I highly recommend you check out the Hampton Inn & Suites Vancouver-Downtown. It's one of those "gems" in the Hilton chain, perhaps the best Hampton I have ever stayed at! As a Diamond they will treat you really well, and if space is available, you'll get a very nice suite, without having to pay and arm and a leg for it, nevertheless their regular rooms are very spacious and clean! It's right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of the Yaletown district, lots of fabulous restaurants around the hotel, or a short cab ride to some of the best dim sum on this side of the planet! :-:
