Quail Lodge Carmel Valley

How do you find the Quail Lodge in Carmel? I got us a last minute stay for next week $452 all in for 3 nights in a Premiere 2 Queen Cottage. I have heard nice things about this Lodge and AirBnBs were going for more that this. Event he Hyatt in Monterrey would have costed more with the Resort Fee.

Its got great reviews and is located just minutes from the beach. Considering its March I wanted to be inland for a bit warmer stay and the forecast is in the 60s next week with some brief showers. The heated pool at 86 will be perfect.

Overall I am very happy with our choice! I was looking at Post Ranch but ts a bit further than we wanted to drive considering fog on Highway 1.

Also how is Edgars at the Quail for Dinner? We always go to Il Fornaios in Carmel and perhaps if not Edgars Pacific Edge at the Hyatt.

It's been some years since I have stayed at Quail Lodge. I remember it as a nice property. It's not a luxury hotel (or even that close to being one) but if it has been kept in good shape with regular room renovations, it should be nicer than the Hyatt Monterrey.

Had to cancel this but rebooked direct..The kind manager honored our original rate for next week for $273 for 2 nights all in with a upgraded unit. We avoided the recovery service charge of $40. Rooms here are now going for $250 a night. The manager had our profile and got us in the first night they are reoopening. The pool may or may not be open but the Golf Course is. Its a beautiful property.
i will write back. I love these hidden gems.

Here now - suite as there are 3 of us. I love it. We used pool before check-in as we arrived early. Maybe we can enjoy pool after checkout as well.
restaurant salads were great - there was a power outage and alas food was limited to the salads and drinks.

vent - no kid menu items for the luncheon :-)

Is the bottle of wine (in room) free - it lacks a price tag while the bottles of Italian water and the soap have price tags.

We stayed for 4 nights in 2016. We really liked it. We ate at the Mexican one night along the road, but not in the restaurant on site. We did enjoy the breakfast right enough. Would definitely stay in it again if we ever went back.

Did you book online? This is one of their promotions:
Complimentary welcome amenity in your room upon arrival that includes post-its, a small notepad, and pen to help get business done during the day, and a bottle of wine to help relax and unwind in the evening.
When in doubt, call the front desk.

Just had luncheon as carryout from Baja Cantina. I had also gone there earlier in the decade.
