Lots of choices.. is paying 30-40 usd difference to fly Thai a big deal?

Not on my routes. If I dont fly FD, I am paying double to quadruple. They got me for the $3 for insurance after all during a bogus online check in. I deselected it again and they charged me anyway. Oh yeah, online check in doesn't work at PNH.

Those really cheap AirAsia flight specials show up 5-8 months in advance. Who can plan that far ahead?
