Air Asia and Baby Pushers!

Hi people,

I have a few flights coming up and was wondering what the deal is with taking a baby pusher on Air Asia. Does this airline just "tag" the pusher at the gate or do they weigh the pusher, charge you and check it in?

I have recently been travelling a bit with Air Asia. I have witnessed a number of families taking their pusher to the Gate in Melbourne (for an Air Asia X flight) but at LCCT and other asian cities families all seemed to be carrying their children.

LOL I thought this was about people trying to sell babies or something .. Might have better luck when looking up "baby stroller"

From their site http://www.airasia.com/site/en/faqSe...3c000-4d764436

Can I take my baby stroller into the cabin with me?
Answer :
Due to space limitations in the cabin, Baby strollers have to be checked -in under limited liability. However , you may take the stroller up to the aircraft door.

. What items will be carried free of charge?
AirAsia offers the following items as checked baggage free of charge:
Baby buggies/pram, manual wheelchairs, mobility devices and walking frames
