Fastbreak at LAX?
Renting from Budget for the first time (I usually rent from National/Alamo). Has anybody used Fastbreak at LAX? Any advice about Fasbreak or LAX? Does the shuttle run more frequently than the National shuttle (which runs not a lot!) Got a standard SUV for a 9 day rental.

Fast Break at Lax
I rented an Suv - Escape - from Budget using Fast Break. I had absolutely no problem with it.
The vans run fine. In fact, I got off the plane, got my luggage and went to the pickup area, and I waited a few minutes.
The car was waiting in the area designated, but my name wasn't on the paperwork. However, I deduced that the car waiting was for me.

First stop in the LAX Budget lot is for Fast Break. They have a sign with list of names and rental category. Also sometimes a piece of paper with more names taped to the electronic sign.
You go to the spaces with your category number on it and take any car you you want. Give them the hanging tag on rear view mirror and show your Drivers License on exiting the lot.
Buses are suitably frequent or I have been lucky.

Thanks very much for your information and anecdotes. I now know what to look for when I get there. I'm glad to hear the bus runs frequently.
