Budget at YYC - A Long Wait
My friend made a reservation with Budget for pick-up at YYC on 4 September. When we got there, there was a long line (and it didn't get any shorter behind us as we waited). Once we got to the counter, the paperwork was processed and then we had to sit down for what we were told would be 20 minutes for our car to be ready.
Much later, we were told to go to the outside lot to pick up our key and they didn't know which stall the car was in. It delayed us by almost two hours. If I would have known the wait would have been that long, we would have gotten a car from another agency.
On top of that, we had a flat. It turns out that the renter is responsible for flats. Fortunately, we were able to have it plugged without too much of a delay. How many other rental agencies make you responsible for flat tires. Is it that much different than a broken fan belt?

I think the renter is responsible for flats with every rental company. Just avoid road debris (even those you can't see)
I once got a flat on a brand new vehicle with less than 100 miles on it.
