How does FastBreak service work?
At a FastBreak airport... will be renting at LAX next month; received my card now. Is it a "pick your car up under the lights" program like Hertz or something different?
Thanks.

FastBreak is similar to Emerald Aisle in that you pick out your own car. The difference is that Budget has a computer kiosk that has a number next to your name, based on the type of car you rent. You check the computer, and then select a car from area '1' if there is a '1' next to your name etc.
While I prefer the Emerald Aisle for the cars Budget is always my backup rental company because the Fastbreak service is very convenient.

If you reserve level 2 at LAX, they often have some pretty hot Mustangs.

Just rented a car in San Diego. There was one car in the category I rented. I went back to the kiosk and told the gal that I had an upgrade coupon but I wasn't sure if it would be good (memorial day week-end). she told me to pick out an upgraded car, mid-size to full size (Ford Taurus). Their system was very fast both for pick-up and drop-off. Always get good rates through smarterliving.com
