expensive in PHX
Something funny going on with car rentals, or at least car rentals in PHX, these days ?!? Need a 6-day rental in early October and the best I can find is well over $300 (including Budget, which seems to be the cheapest these days).

Well, it's NOT just Phoenix unfortunately. I was checking today for 4 weeks from now for an 8 day rental in Dayton, OH. I checked Avis, National, Budget, Dollar, and Hertz. The cheapest I got at any company for an intermediate was $325. I am lost. At those prices, I won't be renting, that is astronomical.
