Back by popular demand. How many miles have you flown in 2008 (including flights that you plan to take up to 31st Dec)?
Thanks to the amazing ba97.com calendar, I can see that I am down to 75738 miles this year (from 79874 the year before). And next year doesn't look terribly promising either

59,394 according to ba97.com, on 16 sectors - all BA. 14,294 booked for next year so far - all leisure, so that will increase significantly once work trips start to get scheduled.

Hard to say as I fly a lot on various carriers and alliances, but I reckon around 250,000.
Roughly comprised of 70,000 with Star Alliance, 60,000 with Skyteam, 70,000 with oneworld, then I am guessing about 50,000 on non-aligned, LCCs, and a couple of award tickets. Sectors I would really struggle to accurately estimate.
I would love to have kept a record to see it all precisely, just like I'd love to give something back by reviewing every hotel I stay at on Tripadvisor.... but in reality I don't really have the time and would probably give up logging my flights after about a month.

The least in years. Only 4 BA sectors compared to about 14 in previous years.
So one LHR-BOS-LHR, one LHR-MUC-LHR and one LGW-MBA-LGW (on First Choice -which was actually my best flight1) and a couple of LHr-DUBs for work.
I already have as many booked next year and will easilly beat this mileage by the end of May.

98,054 this year - would have hit 100k had I not decided to stay in IST for the weekend to avoid arriving into T5 on its first Friday of operations, and departing on its first Monday. Ironically, as I recall the IST flights only had about 40 mins delay maximum.
44 out of 50 sectors on BA.

Another personal best year per ba97.com but I suspect this will be the limit in light of the current economic environment.
83 flights = 140,384 miles on 20 different airlines
Suprisingly only 46% of miles (40% of segments were BA)
13% in F, 78% in J, 9% in Y (european sectors for work!)
New Airlines for me this year were LAN ^ and Aerolineas Argentinas, CSA, JAL, Air Europa and Olympic. Would definitely repeat the LAN experience

80970 miles this year, even though I have been on more trips.
Down from 94113 last year.
Next yr is looking good, with 61138 planned already.

about 90,000 miles and 62 segments - more sectors but less miles than last year - and this increase in short-haul goes hand in hand with an increase in Y
same trend next year: more segments, more short-haul therefore more Y, less miles - I especially dislike the increase in short-haul air travel
