Miles posting quicker?

Miles posting quicker?
Flew LHR-NCE yesterday morning and was surprised to check my account this morning and see the miles had already posted (iso the usual 2-3 days).
Has anyone else noticed miles/points posting quicker?

I flew LHR-ARN Tues mid morning and it had posted by noon yesterday; I returned yesterday on the 705am flight and it had posted by this morning. That is about as quick as it has ever been but not sure I would say it is quicker than ever before.

Same, 24 hours usually. I have noticed on a couple of occasions when flying to BOM though that the miles have been showing in my account in less than 24 hours so maybe there is a cut off time each day and a batch job that runs (at midnight maybe?) to credit the accounts.

Now that you mention, I have noticed my last several flights posting within a day.
Then again, they've all been redemption or in one case a ticket offered as a commercial gesture (booked in U), so I thought perhaps EC was just overly eager to point out that I would not be earning miles or tier points for any of my recent flights...
I'm sure once I get around to needing the old tier points to post in time for a renewal or some such, things will be back to their slow old manners.

IIRC the system updates around 7/8 AM BST (or at least it was like that a few months ago)

Agree, miles now do seem to get posted extremely quickly, great, saves one having to keep checking, and then if they do not appear have to phone up and try and sort it out, obviously BAEC are becoming much more efficient.^

I usually find that the miles for the outward trip are posted by the next morning and ditto for the return trip. This is on paid BA flights. It has been like this for at least a year.
