Did you hear Terry say at the end, about one of their entourage "It looks like he's got third degree burns". ^

That's interesting! So a bit like Superman or Batman then...

I still wonder what they look without the masks though, as Terry wogan said, it must have taken ages to put on all that makeup.

One point from Albania according to the scoreboard..,
Albania is "fairly close" I guess, I mean it's not Iceland...

Well, try among the closest countries: the one point was from Albania

Close race...

Just checked one of the major Finnish newspapers Helsingin Sanomat (the main newspaper of the capital, Helsinki).
Not that I speak Finnish, but the top story is quite obvious, they are really happy over there!!

We are doing pretty well at FT - this thread now on its fourth page. The discussion forum at Helsingin Sanomat just reached its fifth page.

Yes, and we've successfully hijacked the BA board, for a topic which is slightly OT...

I'm a bit surprised Greece didn't do better, many people regarded the Greek song as a potential winner, they ended 9th...

oops

Actually Las Ketchup was singing about Duty Free. And if they had any sense they wouldn't have been flying IB.

I'm sure there's a tentative link to flying BA there somewhere.

I just found that Lordi has a Eurovision promotion webpage with the title "Europe, get ready to get scared".

An interesting quote from the webpage:
We have the same aesthetic as horror films. The scarier the film, the more fun it is. And rock music should be all about fun, Lordi says.
