Connecting to BA from VS

I am thinking about taking VS from LAX-LHR and then connecting on BA to CDG. Are the two terminals anywhere near each other and how long a connection time should I give myself? Thanks!

You'll be coming in to T3 and departing T4. Free shuttle on LHR Express, taking max c. 30 mins considering train interval, getting to/from platform, amount of luggage, etc.

Don't know what BA/VS recommend for connections and much depends on whether your bags will be checked through to CDG from LAX, class of service and arrival punctuality. Would aim for 90 mins minimum for safety and try to check bags through and/or use OLCI on BA sector.

Isn't a VS to BA connection something like trying to mix oil and water?

Maybe 'grain and grape' more than 'oil and water'

Which one is the grain, and which the grape?
