Celebs on BA

Why it is good to have an expresso after a transatlantic flight...

On a dull dreary Sunday, early morning, in Gatwick, First Lounge, a certain Cdn female lead vocalist with a few band members.

She looks better much better in person and without all the eye make-up!

Enjoy a few days off before the next concert.

I had the enormous pleasure of being sat behind Richard and Judy on a flight to MIA a couple of years back. Having consumed most of the F wine list, she for one looked a lot worse in the flesh!

Next time don't drink the F cabin dry and she may look ok

Several old threads on this...

In my times, Elton John, the band No Doubt, Kofi Annan, Desmond Tutu and a trip in F in 1K with Naomi Campbell (sp?) in 1A.

I've been mistaken for one of the Chippendales many times at the airport.

Ewan Macgregor on a flight from NCE to LHR - he was in 1C, I was in 2F.

The crew started the service at the back of Club (Row 12 that day) - so he got served last!

Ted Heath on LH in F LHR-FRA and a British Queen's Messenger strapped to his diplomatic bag occupying 2 seatsin SR F ZRH - LHR. Why did both of these not fly BA ??

Also an unknown VIP who shared flights from the Baamas to MIA and then Concorde on from MA to LHR, who was met by a very large delegation of FCO people.

Lastly I occupied one seat in the F cabin of an LH flight from FRA to DXB. The remaning (13 ?) seats were all occupied by a single middle eastern family (more of whom were in J). They had a birthday party for one of the kids during the flight - cake with candles and all. On arrival at DXB there was a very very long receving line of assorted sheiks and others on the tarmac to greet them all.

The very best route for this is AF F LAX-CDG. Full of supermodels. My kind of celebrity (and a very high density due to the lack of alternatives, unlike JFK-LHR now that concorde is gone). The only reason to fly AF F in preference to BA.

Checked in next to him at T1 and he sat near us in the Terraces lounge. He looked a little confused and kept glancing around as if he wasn't quite sure what he was doing there.
